Schoeller-Bleckmann Nooter delivers four HP-vessels for Iran via the riverport Linz, Austria.
Ternitz, 26.09.2003. With the shipment of four HP-vessels for the synthesis of Ammonia and Urea to Iran via the river port Linz, Austria, SBN has successfully finished an important order worth more than €8 million. Due to their size and weight, two of the vessels had to be pre-manufactured in parts in the Ternitz workshops, whereas the final assembly was carried out in Linz. One of them, a Urea reactor, being the largest vessel ever manufactured by SBN (weight 370 tons, diameter 4.2 meters, length 30.2 meters).
Schoeller-Bleckmann Nooter, a subsidiary of the Nooter Corporation in St.Louis, Mo., is the worldwide leading manufacturer of customized HP-vessels for the international fertilizer industry. For 2004 SBN plans, with 100 employees, sales of €22 million.
