Seebach GmbH, whose head office is in Vellmar (near Kassel, Germany), has named 2008 as the most successful year in its 39-year company history.
The consolidation of all company shares under company founder Stefan Seebach, and the appointment of Dr. Thomas Grimm-Bosbach as managing director for sales, marketing and finances last May, led to a clear focus on the main business segments.
Seebach is one of the leading producers of high-quality filtration solutions, which are used in the mining, machine, auto, aircraft, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as many other sectors. Seebach is represented by companies in the United States, Poland and Russia. It is also involved in a joint venture in India and operates sales organisations in many additional countries.
The company, which employs 100 people worldwide, plans to expand its key position as system supplier in the mining industry and the chemical and process industry in the next few years. Therefore, intensive investments have been made in expanding research and development resources, and in state-of-the-art machinery.
In spite of the imminent crisis, the partners and management are cautiously optimistic about the future. A moderate increase in sales is planned for the next few years by reducing the innovation and product development cycles. In order to achieve this increase, at least two new filtration solutions shall be presented to the market each year.
