When developing the new four-wire transmitter by Endress+Hauser, the central idea was to offer the user a maximum of flexibility along with the simplest opera-tion and maintenance. The Liquiline CM442 can currently measure six different parameters: pH (glass, IsFET, and enamel technology), ORP, conductive and in-ductive conductivity, turbidity, nitrate, and dissolved oxygen.
Initially, two sensors can be connected in any combination. In the event of later individual expansions of the transmitter, up to eight sensors can be configured and operated according to customer-specific needs. Expanding and changing functions could not be easier since the smart software automatically detects the standardised modules and their functionality. The basis of communication between the transmitter and the sensors is the Memosens protocol.
Thanks to Memosens the system can automatically detect the sensors and load the corresponding software, offering real plug and play capabilities. Even parameter changes can be implemented on the fly. You need only to configure a few process¬specific settings and you’re ready to measure. This makes installation and start-up errors are next to impossible.
The Liquiline CM442 has a high-contrast, transflective, and backlit display. The large measured value display, plain text messages, and display that lights up red in the event of an error provide for the highest process reliability. In conjunction with the well-structured software, the jog/shuttle button familiar from other transmitters guarantees fast and intuitive operation of the new transmitter. The four softkeys permit quick access to the most important submenus. The optional SD card permits easy backup of the instrument configuration as well as the transfer of a customer-specific configuration to other instruments. Software updates can be installed on the instrument easily via e-mail or an SD card.
The new Liquiline CM442 transmitter offers maximum process reliability paired with minimum operating costs.
