Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH (CAC) with headquarters in Chemnitz / Germany, has registered its first success in the Middle East as a result of its strong market presence. For instance, the Islamic Republic of Iran, which possesses the second largest petroleum and gas deposits in the world, is of particular importance in strategic terms in this regard. For that purpose, CAC participated for the first time in the "Iran Oil & Gas Show", which took place in April of this year, to present its "German made" engineering services.
Now it has started to see the first fruit of this endeavor come to bear. CAC was recently awarded a contract by the Iranian "Research Institute of Petro-leum Industry" (RIPI) for basic design and preparing tender documents of a new process for the crude oil industry. This planning service will result in the erection of one of the most modern facilities in the region. For this purpose, the fundamentals for the construction of the facility will be elaborated during the first phase, before the implementation of the project should take place in the next two years.
Since its inception in 1959, the RIPI Institute has developed a very good reputation on the oil, gas and petrochemical market and is the leading re-search institute for these fields in Iran.
