The internationally active Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz (CAC) has received an order for the basic engineering and development of the documentation for the approval process of a soon-to-be-erected petroleum processing plant in Russia that will have a capacity of 6 million tons of crude oil per year.
Considering that the global financial crisis has hit Russia extremely hard, this future-oriented order is to be valued highly. The management of CAC can be justifiably proud of the receipt of this order and of the project team that was involved in securing it. The subsequent order for the detail engineering ought to be placed in the first half of 2009 and CAC has the best chance of receiving it.
