TODO®, the world’s leading manufacturer of Dry-Break couplings (advanced products used to help ensure the safe transfer of hazardous fluids and gasses), has relocated its entire production facility in Töreboda, Sweden to Margate, England. The move is part of ambitious new plans to expand its product range and increase brand recognition worldwide.
Established in 1971 in Töreboda, TODO is now a prominent global brand within Gardner Denver Inc’s Engineered Products Group. The company offers a comprehensive selection of Dry-Break couplings for chemical applications.
Gardner Denver Group director of supply chain management Brian Armitage said: "The move from Töreboda to Margate will provide us with an ideal opportunity to further implement best practices and improve and enhance our production processes. It will also enable us to work more closely with other parts of the group which will benefit our customers by allowing us to maximise service levels."
TODO manufactures and supplies couplings, valves and hoses for safe handling of hazardous fluids and gases. Designed and manufactured to EN ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001-accredited procedures, the product range will continue to conform to all relevant international standards of quality, performance and safety.
For a smooth transition between Sweden and the UK, TODO carefully selected a new team of specialist staff to work in the new Margate facility. Fully trained at the Töreboda plant in the company’s systems and processes, the team will work solely with TODO products to provide the highest standards of knowledge and expertise.
To serve the company’s international customers as effectively as possible, the TODO existing sales support team in Sweden will remain in the Töreboda sales office. TODO will also continue to provide all its products through a comprehensive certified distributor network.
The facility in Margate now provides the complete TODO product offering for distribution worldwide. With a considered and carefully-planned transition, disruption to both TODO and its customers has been kept to an absolute minimum while the company continues its ambitious global expansion plans.
