On Sunday 24 November 2019, FPS opened the doors of its renovated production plant in Fiorenzuola d’Arda to hundreds of visitors.
The event was promoted by L’Economia, a section of the Italian newspaper Il Corriere della Sera.
FPS president Giovanni Gianola said: “Joining in the Open Factory was a special opportunity not only to spread F.P.S. reality in the territory of Piacenza but also to share the passion for our job with our friends and families.
“We chose to have the participants accompanied by two superheroes, MicroGirl and IsolatorMan. This because our superpowers and energy arise from our teamwork passion.”
The Fiorenzuola d’Arda headquarters welcomed approximately 200 visitors, telling them the story of the company and its way of working in the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors.
Guided tours showcased FPS proposals for micronisation and containment systems.
After visiting various departments, guests of all ages had the opportunity to participate in activities using mock-ups of FPS equipment that explained their use.
FPS vice-president Carlo Corsini said: “The participants were very impressed by the afternoon spent in FPS. They discovered the importance of a local company operating in an often unknown sector, which successfully does business all over the world.”
