PVC and VCM

Shintech has announced its intention to build a integrated chloryl alkali raw materials plant in St. James, Louisiana.

The Gandhar complex, connected to the chemical terminal at Dahej, houses an integrated polyvinyl chloride manufacturing facility.

The Dahej complex produces about 115,000t/y of chlor-alkali and chlorine.

The integrated production of PVC and caustic soda, chlorine and ethylene have given a competitive advantage in the Dahej complex's PVC production.

The Dahej integrated complex at Dahej, Gujarat saw an investment of INR35.05bn (approximately $780m).
