Joffre (Nova Chemicals) Ethylene and Polyethylene Plants, Canada
The feedstock for the ethylene production is ethane, which is extracted from natural gas. Currently 30% of the ethylene produced at the Joffre plant is used as feedstock for the low density polyethylene plant.
