BASF-YPC Integrated Petrochemical Complex, Nanjing, China
BASF-YPC is a 50-50 joint venture between BASF and SINOPEC. The JV operates a steam cracker (600,000tpa ethylene) and nine downstream plants on its 220ha site in Nanjing, China. BASF-YPC will produce about 1.7 million tpa of high quality chemicals and polymers for the rapidly growing Chinese market.
