Technip has been awarded a lump-sum turnkey engineering, procurement and construction contract by Michelin Siam to build a new elastomer composite plant in Southern Region Industrial Estate in Songkhla province, Thailand.
The contract includes preliminary engineering, detailed engineering, project management, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning and start-up assistance.
The plant, which will produce rubber composites, is scheduled for completion in early 2013.
