Technip has been awarded a project management, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction contract by ExxonMobil Chemical for a grassroots lubricant base stock facility.
The facility will be built at ExxonMobil Chemical's integrated refinery and chemical complex in Baytown, Texas, US.
The project will provide a new synthetic lubricant base stock plant, consisting of the process unit, associated pipe rack and product tanks, and a pumping and firewater system.
The project is scheduled for completion in 2013.
