Praxair subsidiary Praxair Distribution has acquired American Gas Group, whose assets include Specialty Gases of America, American Specialty Gases and Semiconductor Resources.
Praxair manufactures, sells and markets atmospheric and process gases, as well as high-performance surface coatings.
American Gas Group is involved in packaging a variety of speciality gases such as EPA Protocols, hydrocarbons, VOC mixtures, reactive mixtures, high-purity chemicals, and industrial and medical gas products.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
