Specialised polymer materials, services and solutions provider, PolyOne, has signed an agreement to form a joint venture (JV) with Saudi Arabia's E.A. Juffali & Brothers, that will enable PolyOne to expand its global colour, additives and inks business into the Middle East.
The new JV will be 51% owned by PolyOne and will be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The joint venture will initially invest approximately $14m in a new manufacturing facility for the production of specialty colour concentrates.
The new colour concentrate facility will come on-line in late 2012.
