German-based Oxea is planning to build a chemical plant for the production of oxo derivatives in Nanjing, China, in 2012.
Oxo derivatives are used in the manufacture of automotive, construction, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and personal care products.
Oxea marketing and sales executive board member Miguel Mantas said that the new plant will enable Oxea to meet the growing demand in China and Asia.
The new chemical plant is scheduled to come on-line in 2013.
