Linde opens new air separation plant in Korea

The Linde Group has opened a KRW206bn ($180m) air separation plant in Giheung, South Korea.

The new facility, the second in the area, will produce industrial gases including nitrogen, oxygen and argon.

The company is also planning to build a 5,200t/year nitrous oxide production plant in Chungnam Asan, Korea.

Linde Korea also operates industrial gas facilities in Dangjin and Chungnam Daesan, and a petrochemical Complex and two factories in Pohang.
