India's Kiri Industries, a manufacturer of dyes and dye intermediates formerly known as Kiri Dyes & Chemicals, has acquired the Taiwan-based chemical distribution firm SMS Chemical for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition will enhance the global market share and expand Kiri Industries' customer reach.
Kiri Industries expects that the acquired firm will contribute $60m to its revenue in 2012.
SMS Chemical is involved in the distribution of chemical products produced by other south-east Asian chemical firms.
