Keyuan Petrochemicals has completed the construction of its new 70,000t/year styrene-butadiene-styrene production facility located in Ningbo, Zhejiang province.
Keyuan is currently conducting equipment optimisation and testing at the new facility.
The company plans to conduct trial production runs in October and November 2011 before commercial production begins.
Keyuan Petrochemicals chairman and CEO Chunfeng Tao said that the facility will achieve an approximately 80% utilisation rate in 2012.
