Indian chemical company to build new SSP plant

Indian chemicals and fertilisers maker, Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals, will invest $24.7m to set up a single super phosphate (SSP) plant at Dahej in the Bharuch district of Gujarat, India.

The plant will have a capacity to produce 500,000 tons of SSP per annum, Business Standard reported.

In addition, the company is also setting up an SSP plant at its existing factory premises at Gadepan, in the Kota district of Rajasthan with an investment of about Rs325m ($6.6m).

The plant at Gadepan will have an annual SSP production capacity of 200,000 tons.
