India's Directorate General of Anti-Dumping and Allied Duties has imposed an anti-dumping duty of up to $0.81/kg on imports of morpholine from China, the US and European Union.

The duty will range between $0.29/kg and $0.81/kg, reports The Economic Times.

The Department of Revenue said that the anti-dumping duty will be imposed for a period of six months.

The Directorate General of Anti-Dumping and Allied Duties said that the domestic industry had suffered a material injury on account of dumping of the product.

Morpholine is used in crop protection agents, dyes, toiletries and cosmetic products, rubber and drugs.
