Huntsman sells stereolithography and Digitalis machine manufacturing businesses

Huntsman's Advanced Materials division has sold its stereolithography resin and Digitalis machine manufacturing businesses to 3D Systems for $41m in cash.

James Huntsman, president of the Advanced Materials division, said that the sale will enable the company to focus on construction, coatings, power, aerospace and electronics applications.

Huntsman manufactures and markets products including plastics, textiles, footwear, paints and coatings, technology, agriculture, detergents, personal care products, furniture, appliances and packaging.
