Indian-based Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals is set to invest Rs1.25bn ($24m) to set up a nylon-6 engineering plastic facility at its Fertilizernagar unit in Vadodara.
The project will have a capacity of 15,000t/year and is expected to meet growing demand for engineering and film-grade plastics.
Germany's Lurgi has agreed to provide basic design and technical advisory services, and supply proprietary items to GSFC.
