Dow Europe has raised the prices of all grades of its LDPE, linear LDPE and HDPE resins by €100 per ton across the European, Middle Eastern and African regions.
The company plans to halt operations at its four low-density and solution polyethylene trains in Europe, and to operate its remaining trains at reduced rates.
The company aims to further reduce ethylene operating rates due to lower demand for the compound.
