Taiwan's CPC is running its No 5 naphtha-fed steam cracker in Kaohsiung at around 85-90% capacity, following its restart.
The cracker produces 500,000t of ethylene and 250,000t of propylene per year, reports Platts.
CPC operates two other naphtha-fed steam crackers besides the No 5 unit.
The No 3 unit can produce 230,000t of ethylene and 115,000t of propylene per year, while the No 4 unit has a capacity to produce 380,000t of ethylene and 193,000t of propylene per year.
