ChevronPhillips Chemical said that it is restarting ethylene production at its olefins complex in Sweeny, Texas, US, following a power and steam outage.
The company operates three crackers in Sweeny, with an integrated ethylene capacity of around 1.8 million tons a year.
The outage also disturbed ChevronPhillips Chemical's fractionator operations in Sweeny.
