Badger Licensing has been awarded a contract by Lihuayi Weiyuan Chemical to provide its proprietary technology for a 300,000t/year grassroots cumene plant in Dongying City, Shandong Province, China.
The contract includes technology, engineering, start-up services and corresponding training for Lihuayi.
Cumene is used to produce phenol, bisphenol A and polycarbonate.
