Paints and coatings company AkzoNobel is set to invest around €60m to expand the production capacity of its automotive and aerospace coatings business in China to meet rising demand.
The investment also includes constructing a new production facility in Changzhou.
The project is expected to increase capacity by around 25 million litres and is scheduled to be operational by early 2014.
