Air Liquide opens new air separation unit in US

Air Liquide Industrial has opened a new air separation unit at its facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California, US.

The unit produces liquid oxygen and nitrogen for the chemical, healthcare, food and beverage, steel, glass, electronics, and oil and gas industries.

It will expand Air Liquide's supply of industrial gases, while reducing power consumption and overall production costs.

American Air Liquide Holdings president and CEO Michael Graff said the new air separation unit represents the company's ability to expand its capacity through innovative, cutting-edge technologies.
