SK E&C Wins Jurong Aromatic Plant Contract
SK E&C has received a contract from Jurong Aromatics to construct an aromatic plant in the Jurong Petrochemical Complex in Singapore.
Under the contract, SK E&C will provide engineering, procurement, and construction for the project, which will cost $950m and take 36 months to complete, according to financial.tmcnet.com.
The facility is expected to produce four million tons of aromatic products and 800,000t of pyraxylene, benzene and olsoxylene.
The company will also conduct maintenance and repair of the plant, as well as provide raw materials for the production.
