Thai-Viet is planning to build a 950m-dong ($50m) ethanol manufacturing plant in the Ninh Thuan province of Vietnam.
The plant, Bio Ethanol Thai-Viet, is a joint venture between Bio Ethanol Thailand with a 70% stake, and three Vietnamese partners.
The facility will produce 60 million litres of ethanol annually, according to saigon-dpdaily.com.vn.
Construction work on the plant will start next year with operations scheduled to begin by early 2013.
