Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company has completed the construction of Vietnam's first petrochemical plant for Vietnam Oil and Gas.

The $234m polypropylene production plant in Quang Ngai province has a capacity of 150,000t a year.

The plant will be managed and operated by Binh Son Oil Refining and Petrochemical, and yield a turnover of $170-$200m once it is fully operational.
