Nuplex Industries has reported a full-year net profit of NZ$64.2m ($45m), rising from NZ$16.7m ($11m) a year earlier.
Nuplex said earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were NZ$139.4m ($97m), rising from NZ$91.5m ($64m) in 2009.
New Zealand-based resins and chemicals producer said its operating profit during the period was NZ$71.4m, rising from NZ$23.6m a year ago.
In Europe, the company's sales volume grew by 16% over the previous year, the company said.
In March, Nuplex acquired the Med-Chem group's Australian and New Zealand ingredients operations to broaden its earnings.
