BASF to Build Dispersion Plant in China
BASF has announced that it will build a 100,000t dispersion plant in the Daya Bay Petrochemical Industrial Park in Huizhou, China.
The facility will produce XSB dispersions for the paper industry and acrylic dispersions for applications such as coatings, construction, printing, packaging and adhesives.
The Germany-based chemical company has not revealed the investment details of the project.
Operations are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2012.
