Solutia has developed an advanced encapsulant to prevent corrosion in solar cells.
Solutia said its Saflex PS41 PVB, which restricts discolouration, can also be used in building-integrated photovoltaics.
The module has been designed to protect against metal migration and maintain the original aesthetics of the solar module.
