Helena Chemical Company said it plans to build a $15m fertiliser plant in Huntington, north-east Indiana, US.

The 20-acre plant will mix, store and distribute dry and liquid fertilisers, and produce pesticides.

The Tennessee-based firm expects construction work to begin in August and production at the plant to start by next year, according to examiner.com.

The company has ten other sites across Indiana, including Berne, Bluffton and Markle.
