ChemChina Builds Petrochemical Berth in Tianjin


ChemChina said it is investing ¥349m ($51m) on building a petrochemical berth in China's north industrial hub Tianjin.

The annual handling capacity of the new petrochemical berth is expected to be five million tons.

To facilitate the jetty, the company will also build a commercial oil storage base with a capacity of 1.29 million cubic metres, an investment of ¥1.6bn ($243m).

In addition, Sinopec and China National Petroleum Corporation are also planning to build logistic facilities and a crude oil wharf in Tianjin, according to istockanalyst.com.
