Sinopec has completed the expansion of its 100,000bpd refinery in eastern Qingdao city, China.
The expanded Qingdao petrochemical plant has added 50,000bpd to the existing refining capacity and altered the focus to process lower-cost, highly acidic crudes, reports Reuters.
Some of its crude cargoes will sail from around the world, including locations such as Brazil.
