India to Lift Anti-Dumping Duty on Saudi Polypropylene Exports

India will lift protection fees on Saudi polypropylene exports by establishing joint ventures between Indian and Saudi petrochemical companies, Indian Government officials said.

The countries are in talks to solve the issue and businessmen from Saudi Arabia are willing to invest in downstream projects in India, according to Saudi Al-Eqtisadia Daily.

India had recently imposed anti-dumping fees of $820 for each tonne on Saudi Basic Industries Corporation and a $440 per tonne fee on the Advanced Petrochemical Company.
