Royal Dutch Shell may delay the restart of its Pulau Bukom ethylene plant in Singapore to May because of ongoing technical issues.
The cracker, which shut on 18 March and caused Shell to declare a force majeure on ethylene and monoethylene glycol shipments, was scheduled to restart on 10 April.
The plant has a capacity to produce 800,000t of ethylene, 450,000t of propylene and 230,000t of benzene per year.
