ExxonMobil Chemical Opens Technology Centre in China

ExxonMobil Chemical has opened a new technology centre at Zizhu Science-Based Industrial Park in Shanghai, China.

The $90m technology centre will offer a critical link for the development of premium products that can be manufactured or distributed globally.

The will have advanced analytical and testing laboratory equipment and commercial-scale product processing equipment.

The facility is ExxonMobil Chemical's third largest technology centre in the world.

It also features equipment for blown and cast film extrusion, injection moulding, compounding, and packaging.

ExxonMobil Chemical is a US-based petrochemical company that produces olefins, aromatics, fluids, synthetic rubber, polyethylene, polypropylene and oriented polypropylene packaging films.
