TODO® - Dry-Break® Couplings

TODO® has been a manufacturer and supplier of the TODO-MATIC Dry-Break couplings for the chemical industry for 35 years. Our TODO-MATIC couplings are extensively used for loading / unloading railcars, tank trucks and containers as strips, as well as moving liquids and gasses within plants.

TODO® has together with the chemical industries in continental Europe established new technology of loading and unloading railcars, tank-trucks and containers with products such as acrylonitile, ethylene oxide, propylene oxide and butadiene.

TODO-MATIC dry-break coupling

TODO® offer the most comprehensive range of Dry-Break couplings for chemical applications in the world. Sizes from 1in DN25 to 6in DN150 in aluminium, gunmetal and stainless steel with special materials such as Hastalloy C276 available to order. TODO-MATIC Dry-Break couplings use the latest in valve and material technologies to offer unrivaled performance and benefits to the chemical industry. Stainless steel couplings 1in DN25 to 4in DN100 have a maximum working pressure of 25.0 bar-g.

Features of the TODO-MATIC DRY-BREAK coupling:

• Valves open and close automatically on connection and disconnection
• Simple single action operation, no levers or switches to operate
• Valves are guaranteed closed prior to disconnection
• Minimal residual loss on disconnection (e.g. maximum 0.35cc for 2in DN50)
• Will connect and disconnect under pressure and flow where necessary
• Extremely reliable, very few moving parts
• Robust construction, no external operational components
• Available with selectivity system to prevent cross contamination

Further benefits are provided by the optional SELECTIVITY SYSTEM, which prevents accidental mixing of media by connecting the wrong coupler to the wrong adaptor.

Safe transfer of hazardous liquids and gases

TODO-MATIC couplings carry all relevant approvals for the transfer of hazardous liquids and compressed gasses. Approvals include first / primary closure for rail top loading in combination with TODO-MATIC pressure tight cap system. Please ask for details applicable to your application.

PTC reduce pressure behind the cap

The Todo-Matic coupling range is perfectly complemented by the new Pressure Tight Cap System. The cap automatically recognizes and dissipates excess pressure prior to removal thus ensuring operator safety even under multiple closure failure conditions. TODO-MATIC along with this and other innovations follow the TODO line of reducing operator exposure / intervention and the removal of human error in chemical transfer operations.
