EXPANDED PTFE

The exceptional malleability of expanded PTFE can compensate for out-of-parallel and / or damaged sealing surfaces, and allows the use of stress sensitive connections and applications where only a limited flange load is available.

TEADIT 24SH is a large gasket sheet produced from pure, multi-directionally expanded PTFE.

TEADIT 24 B is a gasket material made from pure expanded PTFE in form of a tape. Typical applications include flanges, pump housings, compressors, hand- and manholes, air ducts, compensators, heat exchangers and many more.

TEADIT G-Lon is made from expanded PTFE and an electrically conductive filler material. Because of the excellent thermal and chemical resistance of G-Lon, it can be used in a wide variety of static applications.

TEADIT 25 BI is a multidirectionally expanded PTFE gasket-tape. A special manufacturing process results in almost equal tensile strength in both the longitudinal and cross direction. As a result of this, the material does not change its width under compression. Typical applications are enamelled and glass flanges, heat exchangers, large flanges and containers, pressure vessels, suction filters and strainers, etc.

STRUCTURED PTFE

We supply structured PTFE gasket sheets which are manufactured by a unique process that provides a high level of fibrillation to overcome the creep relaxation and cold flow problems associated with standard (skived or moulded) PTFE sheets.

TEADIT TF1570 is produced from virgin PTFE resin, filled with hollow glass micro spheres. Suitable for services with a wide variety of aggressive fluids, including hydrocarbons, acids and caustics, solvents, water, steam, hydrogen-peroxide and refrigerants. The high compressibility of TF1570 makes it particularly suitable for use with stress sensitive and/or fragile flanged joints, e.g. glass, ceramics, plastic, etc. In pulp and paper mills, TF 1570 is often used in chlorine dioxide service.

TEADIT TF 1580 is produced from virgin PTFE resin filled with barium sulfate. Suitable for caustic and oxygen service, hydrocarbons, chlorine, gases, hydrogen, plants with soda applications and general chemical products. TF 1580 will be the best option since it can be used in both caustic and acid service.

TEADIT TF 1590 is produced from virgin PTFE resin filled with silica. Suitable for services involving high pressure and temperature, especially in chemical processing and hydrocarbon plants in strong acids (except hydrofluoric), solvents, hydrocarbons, water, steam, and chlorine.

BRAIDED PACKINGS

TEADIT produces a full range of braided packings made from carbon and graphite yarns, ePTFE, aramid, glass, ramie, acryl, novoloid and polyimid. Our braided packings are available with impregnation and with or without lubrication. Furthermore we supply preformed packing rings from the whole range and combinations of braided packings. Our preformed packing set RS64 TA-L is TA-Luft approved.
