BURGMANN MECHANICAL SEAL ANSITEX®

With the Ansitex® single mechanical seal cartridge, Burgmann Industries presents a seal design with US standard (inch) installation dimensions. Its high standardization capability and extensive application spectrum make this unit optimally suited for applications on ANSI pumps.

CARTEX MECHANICAL CARTRIDGE SEAL

With their new Cartex seal Burgmann Industries introduce an advancement of their mechanical cartridge seal. The optimized version of the universal cartridge conception for pumps - for first equipment or for retrofitting stuffing boxes - offers a series of improvements and innovations for simpler installation and safe operation.

HRC-GSD GAS-LUBRICATED MECHANICAL SEAL FOR CHEMICAL PUMPS

With the type HRC-GSD Burgmann Industries have put a gas-lubricated standard mechanical seal for chemical pumps on the market. Type HRC-GSD is excellently suited for sealing media containing solid particles.

MAK66 MAGNETIC COUPLING

The MAK range of magnetic couplings of Burgmann Industries has now been in successful use for over 15 years in pumps and agitators for the hermetic sealing off of aggressive media. Today, magnetic couplings make for an economical and reliable solution to demanding sealing application requirements and constitute the state of the art for applications in the chemical and oil-refining industries.

MAK685 AND NMB HEAVY-DUTY COUPLINGS

With its new MAK685, Burgmann Industries has launched a series of magnetic couplings which, together with the NMB heavy-duty couplings, offers a wide range of applications in the higher pressure and performance range. The MAK685 is ideal for use on API 685-compliant process pumps in the chemical industry and refinery sector with a power output of up to 90kW, while the NMB extends the power range up to 300kW.

TA-LUFT COMPLIANT VALVE SEALING

The stringent regulations laid down in the latest version of TA-Luft (German Clean Air Act) in respect of volatile emissions places extremely demanding requirements on valve spindle seals. By 2007, all new and existing industrial facilities in Germany have to conform to the European regulations (IPPC Directive 96/61/EC) and the national legislation (e.g. TA-Luft 2002) and be brought into line with this technical standard.

With valves used for applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors in mind, Burgmann Industries have developed the white TA-Luft-compliant sealing set with the designation 9650 T5 (white); it not only satisfies the requirements of TA-Luft but also meets the very highest demands in terms of purity standards.

TDGS ELASTOMER-FREE METAL BELLOWS-TYPE SEAL

With the TDGS, Burgmann Industries presents a high-efficiency gas-lubricated seal optimally suited for use in single-stage steam turbines in the petrochemical and chemical industries. Wear-free operation and extremely low leakage rates put the TDGS in a class of its own.
