Netherlocks' Valve Interlocks for Extreme Environments.

25 May 2004

In order to supply locks for Russia, Netherlocks had to perform severe environment tests in extreme cold consitions.

It was of the utmost importance that the valves interlocks could operate in extrme cold. The coldest temperature measured at one site was -62°C. Netherlocks wanted to operate safety at this level and beyond.

To ensure this, Netherlocks ordered the German Test Authority TUV to perform a -80°C test. Netherlocks' product didn't fail and are at the moment successfully in use.
