Wilden - Air-Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps

Wilden Pump & Engineering is a market-leading manufacturer of air operated double diaphragm pumps and plastic pumps for the chemical process industry.

Wilden pumps and accessories are used throughout a wide range of fluid transfer applications, such as municipal sludge pumping and circulation duty in clean-room environments.

ADVANCED™ PLASTIC PUMPS

Wilden's Advanced Series pumps were specifically designed for maximum performance and efficiency. The bolted configuration of these pumps ensures total product containment, while the redesigned liquid path reduces internal friction to maximize output and efficiency.

A variety of elastomer options – including Teflon® PTFE – meet abrasion, temperature and chemical-compatibility concerns. Advanced Series plastic pumps are offered in polypropylene, PVDF and Teflon PFA, and can be customized.

P200 plastic pumps:

  • Maximize containment
  • Increase on / off reliability
  • Lower the cost of operation
  • Increase flow rates
  • Are cost-effective

Technological advantages include:

  • Advanced wetted-path designs
  • Proven air-distribution systems
  • Progressive diaphragm technology
  • Leak-free operation

Advanced Series pumps provide:

  • Higher yields
  • Increased pump performance
  • Lower operational costs and downtime
  • Longer Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)

UNITEC™ HANDCRAFTED PUMPS

The UNITEC series of positive-displacement reciprocating and air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps includes a complete line of versatile pumps made for nearly any process and waste application. They have machined sealing surfaces and superior product containment. The Teflon PTFE and polyethylene pumps in the UNITEC series extend the application limits for an AODD pump.

UNITEC conductive plastic pumps are designed to safely discharge static electricity when hazardous static build-up is present in a process system; an ability that meets the ATEX 100 directive standards for Europe. They provide:

  • Simple design
  • Unique, validated and certified technology
  • Reliable, leak-free and quiet operation

UNITEC pump features include:

  • Conductive plastic
  • No diaphragm piston plates
  • Variable flow and pressure
  • Ability to run dry and deadhead

UNITEC pumps are intrinsically safe and reliably transfer corrosive chemicals. They are simple to operate and maintain, and have long MTBF and service life.

UNITEC pumps are ideal for:

  • General chemical transfer
  • Solvents, acids and caustics
  • Chemical batching and dosing
  • Slurry and ceramic slip
  • Paint, ink and resin
  • Hazardous and toxic solutions
  • High or low viscosity
  • Hot or cold temperatures
  • Shear-sensitive emulsions
  • Drum pumping

UU SERIES PLASTIC PUMPS

UU series 100% metal-free plastic pumps have discharge pressures up to 6bar (87psi), an externally serviceable air-valve assembly and a reliable Uni-Flo™ air-distribution system, and are made of Teflon PTFE and polyethylene.

UU series plastic pumps offer variable speed and pressure, and combined FNPT / BSP threaded liquid and discharge connections. They are available in five compact and robust sizes.

UA SERIES PLASTIC PUMPS

UA series machined plastic pumps are made of ATEX-compliant conductive polyethylene and conductive Teflon PTFE. Wetted and center housing are the same material, for superior chemical resistance. Pumps are sized from 6mm (1/4in) to 51mm (2in) and can be fully customized.

A variety of porting configurations are available depending upon the position of the center section and plug location. 25mm (1in) and above UA pumps have both a flanged and threaded liquid connection (FNPT / BSP with ANSI or DIN).

UH SERIES PLASTIC PUMPS

UH series plastic pumps have discharge pressures up to 16bar (230psi). They are made of machined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, with a machined nylon center section and Teflon PTFE, Nordel® and Buna-N diaphragm options.

They possess a reliable Uni-Flo™ air distribution system, require no external boosters to achieve amplified output, and are ideal for pre-process, process and waste applications.

UH pumps provide:

  • Variable speed and pressure
  • Adjustable manifold connections
  • Three compact and robust pump sizes

UX SERIES PLASTIC PUMPS

UX series plastic pumps comply with the ATEX directive. Surface resistance is less than 105, and they are available in both machined conductive-PE wetted and non-wetted construction.

Conductive diaphragms can be made of Teflon PTFE or Nordel, and there is a reliable Uni-Flo air distribution system. UX pumps have a compact, space-saving design and multi-position porting options.

UX PUMP FLEXIBILITY

Valve configuration can easily be changed from ball to cylinder valve for enhanced suction-lift. A variety of porting configurations are available depending upon the position of the central housing.

Valve assemblies (inlet and outlet) can easily be inspected and maintained via the top plugs.

WORLDWIDE SERVICE

We have factory-trained distributors in 64 countries, a local service with local inventory, and specialized pump knowledge and experience.
