Larox LPP-D Pumps on Latex Paint Primer Application

One of the largest global paint and coatings manufacturer has selected a Larox LPP-D to pump latex primer. The Larox pump was chosen over the competition due to its ability to continuous operation without inducing frictional heat and its no shear capabilities.
The Larox LPP-D15 peristaltic pump is being used in a testing lab where it is running at variable speeds pumping latex primer of various formulations and viscosities. Testing mainly consist of determining the effects of temperature rise and viscosities changes due to shearing. Because of the unique rolling design of the Larox LPP-D, the test is not affected by temperature rise during pumping like in most conventional hose pumps. The no to low shear capabilities allows the customer to gather unabated information concerning shear sensitive of their primer formulations.
