HMD Kontro - Sealless Chemical Process Pumps

HMD/Kontro sealless magnet drive pumps have been designed to meet the demands of modern centrifugal process pump applications. First pioneered by HMD/Kontro in 1946, today's sealless magnet drive pumps are built for increased safety and the minimization of liquid releases to the environment.

HMD/KONTRO possesses an unmatched experience in delivering sealless magnet drive pumps to the chemical processing industries.

ANSI / ISO STANDARD CHEMICAL PROCESS CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

Easy to maintain and extremely reliable, HMD/KONTRO process pumps are ideal for transferring toxic, aggressive and carcinogenic liquids in the chemicals industry. Our process pumps feature modular high efficiency wet ends that ensure maximum flow / head coverage across all ranges.

Our chemical process centrifugal pumps maximize on-line process time without the need for expensive seal support systems and meet all ANSI and ISO standards.

FULLY SYNCHRONOUS CANNED MOTOR PUMPS

Our fully synchronous canned motor pump is designed for effective, leak-free secondary containment purposes. Maintainable on site, the canned motor pump can be used in conjunction with a unique vapour detector system and silicone carbide bearings as standard.

The fully synchronous canned motor pump can be used in a wide range of demanding applications, such as full deluge tests at a solvent tanker offloading station.

HIGH SYSTEM PRESSURE AND HEAT TRANSFER CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

High system pressure and heat transfer pumps are at the forefront of the company's seal and sealless product range.

Our high system pressure pumps are built to check the density of fluids that are passed down high pressure pipelines. These pumps are therefore ideal sampling units, featuring high efficiency magnetic couplings, modular and interchangeable wet ends and a stainless steel construction.

Heat transfer pumps are integral to hot oil systems because they are designed to operate without the need for cooling fluids or hear exchangers. Boasting a built-in soft start feature and torque ring drive, HMD/KONTRO heat transfer pumps can be operated at temperatures up to 400°C without the need for cooling periods.

NON-METALLIC LINED AND SELF PRIMING SEAMLESS PUMPS

HMD/Kontro's SPGS self priming seamless pump is perfect for the transfer and containment of top off-loading pumps. The SPGS can be combined with the MAGMAX drive to ensure total secondary containment. Its seamless design makes it easy to install and maintain. Our self priming seamless pump can be supplied with non-metallic ETFE lining for use with corrosive liquids.

The company also manufactures a separate range of specialised non-metallic pumps that feature modular / interchangeable high efficiency magnetic couplings and conform to ANSI and ISO specifications.
