BOC Edwards - Vacuum PumpsA leading supplier of vacuum equipment, serving the world's most advanced industries. Our product range includes: Liquid ring, dry and oil-sealed vacuum pumps and systems; Exhaust gas management; liquid abatement;, chemical systems and coating systems. DRY VACUUM PUMP Edwards dry vacuum pumps are the first choice for modern, environmentally sensitive process installations. They deliver a clean vacuum, no oil or water comes into contact with the process gas, so there is no contaminated oil or polluted water to dispose of. Edwards offers pumps using a claw or a screw mechanism. To design chemical dry pumping systems, mechanical boosters and standard and customised accessories are available. DRY VACUUM PUMP DPS/EDP SERIES Based on patented technology and the proven claw mechanism, DP pumps are available with capacities from 80m3/hr to 400m3/hr (50CFM to 235CFM). The vertical orientation allows condensates to drain and can handle liquid slugs. CDX1000 DRY PUMP The CDX uses a unique double-ended screw mechanism and is ideally suited to higher capacity chemical and petrochemical process duties. Its high capacity of 1,000m3/hr (590CFM) improves pump down time to achieve the ultimate pressure of 5 x 10-2mbar (3.75 x 10-2Torr). Other features are the excellent liquid and dust handling capacity and options include integral flame arrestors. XDS DRY SCROLL PUMPS For applications requiring pumpings of up to 35m3//hr (21CFM), XDS scroll pumps are available. Thanks to the patented bearing shield they deliver totally clean and dry vacuum. ATEX SYSTEMS All DPS chemical dry vacuum pumps are fully and independently ATEX certified. Standard packages are available for Zone 0, 1 and 2 up to T4 rating. BOC Edwards systems are ATEX compliant and still achieve optimum pumping speeds. MECHANICAL BOOSTER PUMPS Edwards is the leading manufacturer of mechanical boosters with a solution to fit most requirements. Four pump ranges are available with up to 30,000m3/hr (17,700CFM) capacity. LIQUID RING PUMPS AND PACKAGES Liquid ring pumps provide proven and reliable vacuum technology for continuous operation from atmosphere down to 33mbar. Our pumps are manufactured in cast iron and stainless steel as standard, special materials include hastelloy, duplex stainless steel and aluminium bronze. The pumps are suitable for operation using a wide range of seal liquids. The single-stage pumps offer pumping speeds of up to 11,000m3/hr (6,470CFM), while the two-stage equipment has speeds of up to 7,500m³/hr (4,500CFM). STEAM EJECTORS Following the acquisition of Hick Hargreaves, Edwards has over 100 years experience in the design and supply of steam ejector systems. These are available as multi-stage units or backed by liquid ring pumps with pumping speed of up to 1,000,000m3/hr (600,000CFM). VACUUM MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL INSTRUMENTATION Edwards offers a comprehensive range of instruments for vacuum measurement and control. APPLICATIONS OF EDWARDS PUMPS AND SYSTEMS Edwards pumps and systems are used in many applications including: distillation, drying, evaporation and crystallisation, stripping, reactor service, solvent recovery, house vacuum, ethylene oxide sterilisation, food packaging and processing, dearation, filtration and edible oil processing. SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT Edwards service offers dedicated factory and regional repair centers, local service teams for on-site services at your facility, service exchange, and spare and refurbished products. This includes service plans for routine maintenance, installation and commissioning to optimise the performance your vacuum equipment.
