Albin Pump - Hose Pumps and AODD Pumps

Albin Pump develops and markets seal-less pumps that facilitate and improve efficiency for customers' processes. We focus on two kinds of pumps: our state-of-the-art hose pumps (the ALH series), and our innovative and patented air-operated double-diaphragm pump (the AD series AODD pump).

ALH HOSE PUMPS

The ALH series hose pump is an extremely simple hose pump with a wide range – up to 70m³/h, and 15bar – that can handle most fluids in the majority of applications. This hose pump is very easy to use and maintain.

Maintenance costs are lowered by using a hose pump without valves, shaft seals, pistons, stators or rotating elements in the fluid, as this eliminates leaks, blockages, corrosion and mechanical-part wear.

The ALH hose pump is virtually maintenance-free, reducing downtime. With only one wearing part, and only one part – the hose – in contact with the fluid, ALH hose pumps are constructed to make hose changes as fast as possible.

The ALH hose pump provides versatility and trouble-free pumping of abrasive slurries; corrosive acids; gaseous, shear-sensitive and viscous fluids; or fluids with a high specific-gravity.

The pump is reversible, creating a system that can be pumped out, and blockages in the suction line can be removed. There is no possible contamination of the fluid to be pumped because it only comes in contact with the hose; a unique quality for a positive-displacement pump.

Our hose pumps handle the toughest applications – from aggressive to shear-sensitive and viscous materials – through a robust design which gives a long lifespan. Offering tremendous fluid-transfer versatility, from wastewater to highly shear-sensitive products, our hose pumps also offer excellent lift capabilities, high-precision dosing and flow rates up to 150m³/h.

Ideal applications for ALH hose pumps include chemical, water and wastewater treatment; paint and pigments; pulp and paper; mining and mineral separation; construction, printing and packaging; agriculture; automotive applications; textiles; and OEM.

AD SERIES AODD PUMPS

AD series revolutionary AODD pumps provide a reduction of friction and current losses, resulting in lower costs, through heavily reduced energy consumption, and – consequently – less effect on the environment. The reduced friction and current losses also reduce pulsation.

Albin's AD AODD pumps are designed with a minimum of moving parts and all parts are changeable with the pump left in the piping system, resulting in absolutely minimum downtime. The lifespan of the diaphragms is increased up to five times through the patented diaphragm-suspension.

With the new AD design we have succeeded in reducing the drawbacks of conventional AODD pumps, such as heavy pulsation, stalling air valves, cost of spares and noisy operation.

Thanks to the ingenious Frictionless Pivoting Valve (FPV) and Flexible Diaphragm Suspension (FDS), we can now offer less downtime, reduced operational cost and increased efficiency.

AD AODD PUMP FEATURES

The AD AODD pump is designed to meet demands on high efficiency and low costs for energy and maintenance. The AODD pump's unique design gives low pulsation, and therefore low vibrations and sound levels. The loads in the system are reduced, increasing the number of potential application areas.

The minimised energy-losses and air consumption – combined with its compact measurements and quiet, feathered-flap valves – makes the AODD pump particularly well suited for OEM customers. It can be installed in any preferred position.
