Gardner Denver Acquires Todo Group

Gardner Denver Inc. of Quincy Illinois is delighted to announce the acquisition of the Todo Group, effective January 9, 2006. Todo will be operated as part of the Fuel Systems SBU of the Fluid Transfer Division and will report to Graeme Murphy, the Managing Director of the Fuel Systems SBU. Todo has its R&D department in Sweden and assembly operations in both Sweden and the UK, plus a central European sales and distribution operation in the Netherlands. Todo's primary product is the Todo-Matic® Dry-Break® coupling system.
The Company previously acquired Emco Wheaton's Dry-Break® coupling business as part of the Syltone acquisition in 2004. The acquisition of Todo Group greatly enhances Gardner Denver's ability to offer the best and most extensive Dry-Break® coupling product range in the world. In turn, this should create opportunities to expand the distribution of the Todo and Emco Wheaton Dry-Break® coupling product range on a global basis.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs. Veronica Mann-Wernsten for her pivotal role in starting the Todo business and growing the organization into it's' market leading position over the last 35 years.
This acquisition is seen as a major step in our strategic intent to become the worlds leading supplier of Dry-Break® couplers and adaptors into the global oil and chemical markets.
